Money on Wild Oats for Rolex Sydney-Hobart

by Tony Wilmot on 26 Dec 2007
Sportingbet SW
The betting money is on Wild Oats X1 to take the 2007 Rolex Sydney to Hobart Line Honours after one Sportingbet Australia punter stepped into the $1.53 on offer with a $20,000 bets.

Sportingbet Australia Betting Manager Bill Richmond said that punters were supremely confident that Wild Oats would be coming home first. 'There's been no money for anything else to beat Wild Oats', said Richmond.

'With the current weather forecast not suiting City Index Leopard or Ichi Ban, you'd think that Skandia or a Sunfish would be the only dangers to the two-time winner.'
