Medway forming new RS-K6 keelboat fleet

by Steve Davis on 3 Nov 2007

The Medway YC is keen to start a new RS-K6 keelboat fleet. So, if you are based in the Medway area and are looking for some exciting sailing get in touch - Only forty minutes from London, and just five from the Medway tunnel, so there’s no long trek to the south coast.

Had an exciting 2007 season? If it’s a 'Yes' – then that’s great and you’ll be looking forward to 2008. But what if it’s a 'No' and you’re jaded, need a change, something different – a different type of boat, a different club?

Well, in 2008 Medway Yacht Club (www.medwayyachtclub.com ) is keen to start a new RS-K6 keelboat fleet and is offering great incentives for you to join in, too.

The RS-K6 is one of the fastest small keelboats around. With a PY of 903 and an asymmetric spinnaker it makes for exciting racing, whether it’s Club racing on the wide expanses of the ten miles of Medway Estuary or at away meetings on the circuit in the UK and internationally.

Medway YC is only forty minutes from London, and just five from the Medway tunnel, so there’s no long trek to the south coast…and we have the concrete ramps, winches and shore-side storage to make dry-sailing a breeze.

Interested? Like to find out more? Well, contact the office for an information and incentive pack.

Medway Yacht Club, Lower Upnor, Rochester, Kent ME2 4XB. T: 01634-718399 or email medwayyachtclub@aol.com or call Steve Davis on 07785-920159.
