Hart & Hoffman win the Carloyn Nute Regatta

by Event Media on 30 Oct 2007
Fleet Captain, Doug Hart turned out to be the top ghoul at the Carolyn Nute Snipe Fall Invitational Regatta this past weekend. Together with crew, Scott Hoffman, Hart won the seven race, 16-boat regatta held out of Mission Bay Yacht Club.

While Hart/Hoffman won with 19 points and won the first and the last race of the series, six Snipe teams were stacked up right behind them. Chuck Sinks and Jake LaDow were second. Rick Arneson and Diana Carter were third with 22 and 23 points, respectively. After being very involved with the hosting of the US Championship of Champions and dealing with the wild fires that struck San Diego county, the fleet let off some steam on Saturday night with their Halloween bash. They also celebrated the delivery of yet another prospective crew to the Tillson family.
