42nd Womens Victorian Coffee Urn Results

by Lynn Fitzpatrick on 30 Oct 2007
SW
Seventeen teams from NEISA, MCSA, MAISA, and SAISA raced Harvard's Larks on the Charles River this weekend. Just think of all of the college sailing talent up in Cambridge this weekend with the Schell and the Victorian Urn being sailed simultaneously!

Yale's Jane Macky, Marla Menninger, Kate Hagemann and Liz Brimm won the 12-race regatta by nearly 50 points. Hagemann and Brimm were low point in B Division by a nice margin, while Macky and Menninger were third in tightly contested A Division, only 3 points out of the lead. Harvard, Dartmouth, Brown and Tufts who were 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th in the regatta to teams that had already qualified or were from other districts, qualified to participate in the Women's Atlantic Coast Championships in 420's at Yale on November 10-11th. With berths for eight teams from New England, it looks as if Yale, URI, BC and BU had already qualified for the Women's ACC's. These teams will come up against seven MAISA and three SAISA women's teams.

These are the results for: 42nd Women’s Victorian Coffee Urn at Harvard October 27-28

Regatta highlights:
