505 National Titles

With only a three month lead up to the Australian 505 National Championships, Doyle Sails Brisbane was asked to work with John Warlow and Adrian Finglas to develop and produce computer designed light and heavy 505 jibs and also an AP spinnaker. Development proved so advanced in trials that eight Australian boats bought these sails including the 2006 Australian East Coast Champions Bill Cuneo and John Warlow and 3 time 505 World Champions Chris & Darren Nicholson.
The final results were very credible with 4 Doyle boats finishing in the top 8 places in the Nationals. Chris Nicholson commented that the Jibs were fast and easy to steer to. Work has begun on the Doyle 505 mains which will be available in the next few weeks.
