OMYC meets to discuss future activities

The starting gun for sailing at OMYC (Ocean Marina Yacht Club, Thailand) on Saturday 13th October will be delayed pending a meeting to discuss future sailing activities. The meeting will comprise a review of activities to date and will endeavor to set out the path for weekend and other sailing activities at OMYC. All interested parties are invited and encouraged to attend.

AGENDA.
1. Report 2004-2007 sailing activities
2. Statement of finances, assets.
3. Statement of value of OMYC and other contributions to sailing
4. Proposed OMYC improvements, development
5. Suggestions of Coordinator on proposals for going forward
6. Coffee Break for informal discussion 20mins.
7. Open discussion supervised by the moderators.
8. Formalization of matters arising.

Racing will commence approximately 90 minutes after the closing of the meeting.

Forthcoming events at OMYC:
Bangkok Raft-up Tues 9th Oct, 6:30pm. A casual gathering of regular racing participants and sailing enthusiasts in general that provides an excellent opportunity for crew to find berths and owners to find crew. Please bring friends and invite anyone with an interest in sailing. Hosted by Tenderloins, located at Sukhumvit soi 33.

Racing 13-14 October
The usual racing start gun at 12:00 midday Saturday and 11:00am Sunday.

Racing 2-4 November - Sika Coastal Yacht Race
For the first time in the Gulf of Thailand, 16 hours of non-stop coastal racing from Pattaya to Sattahip. Ocean going yachts will depart Friday evening and arrive just in time for Saturday�s party, which is hosted by Sika and will be at the Sattahip Bay pier. Transportation will be provided to and from Sattahip and Ocean Marina. The Platu fleet warning gun will be at 10:15am on Saturday.
