CNU Sailing squad finishes 10th at the Riley Cup

Christopher Newport's sailing squad finished 10th at the season opening Riley Cup hosted by Old Dominion University this past weekend.

Georgetown placed first in the event, followed by St. Mary's, Kings Point, Navy and ODU Silver. The Captains 10th place finish gave them victories over Maryland, Hampton, William & Mary, VA Tech, Virginia and Maryland-Baltimore County.

Team members were Ben France, Kate Bice, Matt Lythgoe, Johanna Faroe, Kate McClintock, Jerrica Nichols, Taylor Gray and Amy Polhemus.

CNU returns to action next weekend as they head to Toms River, NJ for the Ocean County Fall Open.
