ISAF Ranking August 2007 ISAF
Great Britain cleaned up in Qingdao and continue to dominant the latest ISAF Olympic class Rankings. Together with Germany they have four sailors holding top three positions in the rankings.

Qingdao Gold medallists Sarah Ayton, Sarah Webb and Pippa Wilson hit the number one position for the first time in the Yngling class, while 49er sailors Stevie Morrison and Ben Rhodes dip down to number two, to make way for the German team Jan-Peter and Hannes Peckolt at number one.

Paul Goodison keeps his second place in the Laser rankings after his gold at Qingdao, with Australia's Tom Slingsby in number one position. And Ed Wright stays at third in the Finn class with Jonas Hoegh-Christensen of Denmark retaining his number one spot.

Ben Ainslie has yet to feature in the top rankings despite his Qingdao gold. His three wins that feature in the rankings do not move him from 75th yet, but with his return to competitive Finn sailing this can be expected to change rapidly.

Australia have the most number one positions with Slingsby (Laser), Wilmot and Page (470) and Bundock and Ashby (Tornado) all topping their classes to put Australia third place in the overall ISAF Rankings, tied with Poland and Spain, each having three top class rankings.

The next Rankings release will be on 3 October 2007, following the ISAF Grade 2 Oktoberfest Regatta for the Star Class in Germany.
