Today's Cartoon - Audi Hamilton Island series

The inspiration for today's cartoon is new race record set by the Mark Richard helmed Wild Oats X as she flew round the course in the 60 mile Edward Island Race.

'That's a really good likeness of Ricko' quipped Audi Hamilton Island Race Director Denis Thompson as he watched Mark O'Brien's putting the finishing touches to today's cartoon.

Mark O'Brien's cartoons are featuring daily for the duration of Audi Hamilton Island Race Week. The New Zealander started drawing race cartoons in 1990 when the Whitbread Round the World fleet arrived in Auckland and has never looked back. This year Sail-World featured his great cartoons of the America's Cup.
