The charity 'Africa Viva' is the lucky recipient of £10,000 tonight, courtesy of a comfortable win by 'Estrella Damm' in the Artemis Challenge, a race around the Isle of Wight in Class Zero at Skandia Cowes Week.

Skipper, Guillermo Altadill was aided and abetted by rugby world cup winner, Will Greenwood, MBE and Australian sailing star, Nick Moloney. Will was set to work on the grinders but still enjoyed his day 'It was a real experience and gave me a great insight in to what makes these guys tick!'

Before setting off on the 50 mile course this morning each of the seven teams selected a charity of their choice and the Spanish influenced Estella Damm chose the Barcelona-based charity Africa Viva, whose objective is to improve health conditions for the parts of Africa with the lowest levels of income.
