Second are Tom Weller and Jeroen van Veen (NED) with K Eisenblaetter and S Wussow (GER) in third place.

Wednesday is a lay day with racing continuing on Thursday.

The International 12m2 Sharpie class, designed in 1930, was the Olympic two man boat in the Melbourne Olympics in 1956. Peter Mander and Jack Cropp (NZL) won the Gold, Rolly Tasker (AUS) the Silver and Terrence Smith and Jasper Blackall (GBR) the bronze. Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) is the sailing site for the 2012 Olympics.
