GDV Engineering on the way to winning Division 2 of the 2006 LCSC Allboats Regatta - Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club Allboats Regatta Alison Smith
Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club will open its sailing season with the Allboats Regatta 18-19 August for all off-the-beach dinghies. It's shaping up to be a great regatta with previous years' numbers consistently ranging from 80 - 100 dinghies.
The regatta is open to all off-the-beach dinghies, monohulls and catamarans, and traditionally attracts a wide variety of classes from the greater south east Queensland region. This year Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club has decided to merge the Nacra King of the Lake Regatta with the All Boats regatta to create a bigger, better event.
Last year's Division 2 winner, the MG14 GDV Engineering, will be looking to repeat their form, particularly after placing 2nd in the MG14 national titles recently.
