Race 2 of Simrad Short handed series gets underway

Race 2 of Simrad Short handed series got underway on Auckland's Waitemata harbour today, with the first start at 0900hrs.

The weather forecast is for a north west wind of 30 knots changing to 20 knots this evening with rough seas.

Conditions at the start were a 20 knot northerly wind with the two-handed yachts managing the conditions comfortably in the lee of Rangitioto.
