Boating Stage at Sydney Boat Show

The Boating Stage at the 40th Sydney International Boat Show is a must see for the Boating community each day. - it starts on Thursday 2nd to Tuesday 7th. August 2007.

The Powerboat-World.com and Sail-World Team.com have been working hard to deliver am exciting and interesting Better Boating Workshop and Strictly Sailing Stage and we really want to see you plenty of you there each day.

If you wander by the stage early you will see on water excitement for the Australian offshore Powerboating circuit.

Then the onstage action starts at 10:30am The subject is Seamanship skills- Jeff Jauncy from the Sea School Australia Team provides mooring and berthing and a range of other seamanship tips for boaters.- its an interactive session and a lot of fun.

At 10:50am its Ready to Go Boating - Jason Parker from Andrew Short Marine will be explaining the do's and don't of buying powerboat and engine combinations.

At 11:10am we have Water-ski Action with World Champions Jason Walmsley and Ann Procter and Miss Teen Universe Lauren Eagle.

The action heats up even more at 11:30am with Australian offshore Powerboat champions Luke Durman and Tom Barry King.

At 11:50am Matt Cummins from SeaTow, will be trying to make sure you don't need their on water towing services.

Stephen Milne, the Marketing Director of Riviera, the largest marine manufacturer in the southern hemisphere will be presenting The World of Motor Boat Cruising at 12:10pm.

The Musto Fashion Parade runs from 12:30pm, and then Cooking personality Lyndey Main will be cooking up an on-board storm from 12:50pm.

At 1:10pm, it’s NSW Maritime discussing the Do’s and Don’t then at 1:30pm Mike Logan a BOM Severe weather expert will be on stage on Thursday and Friday, then after that Ken Batt, a rare combination of sailor and meteorologist will be discussing severe weather on the NSW Coast.

At 1:50pm, the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard will be trying to stop you ever having to climb into a Life Raft. Then more models on stage for the second Musto Fashion Parade of the day.

At 2:50pm the very popular Gary Schipper from Stormy Seas will be doing his Marine Safety presentation. –Gary always draw a crowd, stop by and you will see why.

3:10pm and we have Tony Mowbray, Australian solo circumnavigator and cruising aficionado. Mike Harker, the international cruising adventurer who has just crossed the Pacific to reach Sydney in time for the Show will be on stage from 3:30pm.

At 3:50pm Royce Black will tell us about sailing through a Category 5 cyclone on a Seawind Catamaran.

At 4:10, Andrew Cribb from Yachting NSW will explain how adults can get into sailing.

Lyndey Main is back at 4:30pm and the action continues at 4:40 with young guns Micah Lane and Jack McCartney, the current Australian 18 footer champions, who spend most of their time on the yachting scene with Vicsail Beneteau.

Andrew Cribb will be back explains how Kids can get into sailing and at 5:30pm Steven Bond, from Ozi Opti will be explaining that Kids and Boats are fun.

At 5:50pm Team RFD will get serious about Life Rafts, then at 6:10pm Trevor Joyce from Mariner Boating will be making us all dream of the best ever Cruising holidays.

At 6:30pm, the Girls and Guys from Team Musto are back. At 6:50pm Rick Huckstepp from Navman will be providing Marine Electronics safety tips.

At 7:10pm Graham Martin from the Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol will reveal details on that very important marine safety network.

Then to make sure everyone is the Boating mood before the night finishes you can watch some of the wonderful marine holiday vision from Charter World.
