Maximising a big family day out on the water has never been easier with the Aquaglide range of water sport products. Exclusively imported by marine safety and inflatable product specialists RFD, the Aquaglide range covers inflatable swim platforms, tow toys and the largest selling sailcraft in the world- the Multisport LE.

The Multisport LE, as its name suggests, is a versatile inflatable marine toy that can remarkably be configured as a kayak, a windsurfer, a sailboat and a high performance towable. Providing a versatile and cost effective solution to family water addicts, the Multisport LE will keep the whole team amused for hours and retails for under $500.

Designed to make sailing or windsurfing easier to learn, the award winning Multisport range is made of durable nylon making it puncture resistant and light to handle, yet soft to touch. It sets up in minutes, can take one or two people and provides a very stable ride for first timers.

'We know that water-loving Australian boaters will love the versatility and affordability of the Aquaglide range,' said Mark Barker, RFD Managing Director and agent for the Aquaglide range.

'The flagship Multisport LE is set to follow international trends and become a best seller down under. Families can enjoy windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and tow sports without having to buy individual pieces of equipment. They can do it all on the Multisport without the big price tag.'

If fun time by the water is usually measured in days, rather than hours, then a further explore of the Aquaglide range is a must. A complete floating water fun park can be configured with the broad range of Aquaglide inflatable islands and swim platforms which even includes an optional water slide.

Durable, inexpensive and great fun, the range of Aqualide inflatable swim platforms and towables provides the perfect base for all action water sports. A solid all-rounder, the Lanai is an inflatable swim platform that doubles as a reinforced towable. Sit, kneel or stand, riders can guide the platform with the Aquaglide Unique to Control system.

The Maui Series ranges from the single person, 1.4m Kona 1 tube, to the Kona 3 and 4 rafts with neoprene deck pad up to the Kahuna which features a relaxation lounge integrated into the towing platform. Reinforced tow points, stainless steel fixtures and padded handles make the Maui Series seriously fun and seriously safe.

Need a floating base station? Then the Aquaglide Airport is the ideal swim platform. Principally designed as a floating modular dock system, the Airport also doubles as a high performance towable with a huge 2.48m wide square platform. Stainless steel attachment points mean any number of Airports can be joined together for a DIY water park. The Airport Club features heavy duty Hypalon material with a polyester cover for commercial use.

Just looking for a swim platform? Then the Aquaglide Aloha is a cost-effective alternative to the dual purpose Maui Series and towable swim platforms. Constructed with heavy gauge PVC, the value packed Aloha makes the perfect swim platform with a low profile for easy access, stainless steel o-rings for multiple attachments and can hold up to 10 people.

'The Aquaglide range of products has found favour with water loving families, leisure groups, hotel operators and recreation clubs,' said Mark Barker.

'Each product offers durable and safe performance while designed to maximise time spent on the water. The larger platforms like the Lanai and Airport can act as base stations so a group of skiers or wakeboarders can be based on the water, rather than having to ferry people to and from the shore. The Aquaglide range is excellent value and has something for everyone.'

Beginning in 1920, RFD is primarily involved in the supply, service and project management of marine, fire, life support and gas control equipment.
