Don’t miss Southport Yacht Club’s most traditional event of the year – Sailpast and the Blessing of the Fleet Ceremony Open Day, Saturday 8th September, 2007.

Enjoy lunch on the deck overlooking the Gold Coast Broadwater as your children enjoying face painting and balloon twisting activities to the sound of the Hinterland Community Band before the arrival of the official Sailpast Fleet for the Salute and Official Opening of Southport Yacht Club’s 61st Boating Season.

Everyone is welcome to join us onshore and for a great day by the water – don’t miss the Hinterland Community Band and TS Tyalgum Cadets performing the Sunset Ceremony at 5:20pm.

With plenty to participate in and plenty to keep the children entertained, SYC’s Open Day will make for a great family day on the water.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Club’s 61st Boating Season whether onshore for lunch and entertainment or on show on the water!

To find out more information on how you can participate please call Southport Yacht Club on 07 5591 3500.
