Next Time !!!

Well believe it or not the Americas Cup is all over for another few years. Emirates Team New Zealand performed extremely well, but were not quite good enough to beat Alinghi, this time. They certainly had us all captivated and it was well worth forgoing sleep to watch the action unfold in the early morning hours. Congratulations Emirates Team New Zealand for restoring our reputation as the best sailing nation in the World.

The VHF course was completed last night and we are pleased to say there was a 100% pass rate. Watch out for more courses run by the club.

Quiz Nights on Tuesday evenings will be in August  so now is the time to get your team together and start brushing up on your general knowledge. More info coming later.

Matthew Flynn is flying out to Sweden soon to compete in the F18 Archipelago Raid Extreme Race. If you wish to find out more come to the club this Friday  evening for his fundraiser.

We are wishing to form a Social Committee here at the club so we can have more social events throughout the year. If you feel that this is an area you could contribute we would love to hear from you. (Give the office a call 524 9945) or pop on in and see us.
