Optimist Open Meeting at Hayling Island SC - Final

Over 100 Optimist sailors raced at HISC for the Open Meeting. After an exciting first day the weather became too strong on Sunday and further racing was abandoned.

After the first day, with three races completed, Alex Mothersele, ESSC, led the Main fleet after winning all three races. Second was James Parker-Mowbray, FOSSC/CBYC, and in third place Tarra Gill-Taylor, Spinnaker SC.

In the Red Ribbon fleet with four races completed, Anna Prescott, RLYC, won. Hugo Andrews HISC, was just one point adrift, with Fraser Woodley, Burghfield SC, in third place on the same points total.
