The Maritimo range has been performing superbly on the New Zealand market, with Don Senior, of Maritimo Offshore NZ Limited, stating that he has already compiled an extensive data base of people with a genuine interest in the boats.

'At the Auckland Boat Show, the Maritimo 60 was a show favourite, with lots of punters telling us it was not only the best boat in the show, but the best boat ever seen,' Don declared. 'It really has the ‘wow’ factor.

'The Maritimo 52 Sky Lounge also created plenty of interest, as did the Maritimo 48 with confirmed orders for each at the show and definitely more pending,' he added.

Don brought a number of potential clients to Australia in May where they attended the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (May 24-27) and visited the Maritimo production facilities.

On June 1 Maritimo Offshore New Zealand moved into Auckland’s massive Westhaven Marina, the heart of boat broking in the City of Sail.

Maritimo marketing manager, Peter Jenkins, appointed Don Senior and his team as the company’s New Zealand distributor in 2002.

'They have done a first rate job for us, particularly at the high end of the market with the Maritimo 60,' he said. 'Altogether their performance has been exceptional.'
