Gulf Craft has announced positive feedback from the first ever boat show in Kuwait after having recorded sales of nearly US $6 million during the five day show.
The Ajman, UAE-based boatbuilder showcased 14 boats through its local distributors Al Boom Marine and Alghanim Marine.
'We are delighted with the interest from visitors to the Kuwait Boat Show, most of which were Kuwaiti nationals. Kuwait is one of the three most important countries in the Middle East boating industry and therefore we will continue to support the organisers to help grow the show next year,' said Erwin Bamps, executive manager at Gulf Craft.
Al Boom Marine received 11 boat orders, including four Majesty Yachts, during the exhibition.
'Our stand was visited by a constant flow of potential consumers, demonstrating that even in its entry year the Kuwait Boat show has huge potential for supporting the expanding boating culture in the country,' said Adel Alsumait of Al Boom Marine.
'The general trend that we experienced from the Kuwaiti market was a strong interest in our larger superyachts such as the Majesty 101, whilst the younger audiences were attracted to Gulf Craft's sports vessels such as the Oryx 36. This is very positive information for Gulf Craft as we continue to grow the business inline with consumers' needs in the region,' concluded Erwin Bamps.
