by New Zealand OK Dinghy Association on 23 Apr 2007
Preparation for the Hamburg Sud New Zealand OK Dinghy Team is now almost over even though the worlds are not until late July. The eleven members of the team meet at the Port of Napier on Saturday to load the boats into a container headed for Leba, Poland.
The boats are due to arrive in June and some of the team members will attend warm up regattas before the Worlds start on the 22 of July.
The OK Dinghy Worlds is usually limited to 82 boats, however in this, the 50th anniversary year of the OK Dinghy the limit has been lifted and well over 100 boats are expected.
