The ISAF is inviting its Member National Authorities (MNAs) to nominate sailors for the Women's High Performance Dinghy Evaluation Event in Hyères, France.

Six boats will be evaluated from 16-19 April 2007 and the ISAF is looking for sailors covering a balanced range of weight, height, age, and expert trapeze crews.

The Evaluation Event will look at whether there are suitable boats for a possible Women’s High Performance Dinghy event at the Olympic Sailing Competition. The six boats entered for the event are the 29er, 29erXX, RS800, Cherub Daemon, Carbonology GT60 and International 14.

In order to test the boats as fully as possible in the time available, the ISAF is inviting MNAs to nominate national-level teams of women sailors, from which the Evaluation sailors can be selected. The ISAF cannot meet any costs incurred by such sailors.

The ISAF are seeking to select a group of sailors covering a balanced range of weight, height, age and expert trapeze crews. Helms need not have had previous experience of helming from a trapeze.

How To Submit A Nomination

Nominations should include the following details:

Name - Weight - Height - Age - Brief sailing qualifications, as helm and/or crew.

Nominations should be submitted as soon as possible, and no later than 23 March 2007.

To submit a nomination contact your relevant MNA.
