German yacht manufacturer Bavaria Yachtbau has over the last 10 years carved a strong market presence. It has been investing heavily in automation and it is widely recognised as having one of the best yacht and motor boat production facilities in the world.
The German Press has been alive this week with rumours of offers to buy Bavaria Yachtbau by Investment Banking sources.
Tony Kirby, one of North South Yachting's directors, the Australia importer of the impressive range of Bavaria yachts, is currently in Düsseldorf Germany and has confirmed with the families who own Bavaria Yachtbau that there is no intention now or in the immediate future to sell the company and it IS NOT on the market. 'It's business as usual' the company confirmed.
Bavaria has just launched their Sailing Yacht flagship, the Bavaria 50 Vision at Boot Düsseldorf. It has been well received both on the quality of finish and the added extras including the galley pantry, large cockpit and push button transom gate opening to name just a few key features.
