T075 Race Master System TackTick
Tacktick launched their new T070 and the T075 Race Master System with fully integrated Micronet technology to give fast, accurate, wireless speed, depth and compass information for sports and keel boats at the London Boat Show 2007.

A brand new feature of the new Race Master is the Start Line feature which is quick and easy to set up prior to the start of a race and gives both ‘at a glance’ start line bias as well as mean wind line bias information.

The T075 Race Master System offers all the benefits of the T070 Race Master (also launched at the show) but with the added ability to obtain wireless speed and depth information from the Micronet Hull Transmitter which is connected to the transducers enabling additional tactical racing information such as boat speed, speed trim and depth to be displayed. The Race Master system is packaged to include the twin-angled display, hull transmitter, triducer giving speed, depth and temperature and solar panel to power the hull transmitter. The Race Master system is easy to install and provides a sophisticated range of data on the multi combination display.

As the Race Master system uses Tacktick’s award winning Micronet technology, the system can wirelessly network to additional Tacktick instruments such as the T120 Wireless Wind Transmitter to give fast, accurate wind speed and direction, wind shift averaging and mean wind direction. By networking to the recently launched T113 Micronet Remote Display you can have palm-held data for any number of crew and the ability to control the display remotely and when networked to the T122 NMEA interface your GPS data can also be displayed making this the most versatile display for sports and keel boats.

Both the new T070 Race Master and T075 Race Master System come with impressive racing software enabling easy to set up lift/header information as well as compass, start line and timer data.

A brand new feature of the new Race Master is the Start Line feature which is quick and easy to set up prior to the start of a race and gives both ‘at a glance’ start line bias as well as mean wind line bias information.

Using the new Race Master will enable sailors to quickly and accurately assess start lines and sail the shortest distance around the race course making it an essential racing tool.

Both the new Race Master options boast a host of improved design features including clearer two-line LCD displays with improved viewing angles, larger digits and Polaroid friendly screens making it the clearest twin viewing screen available. The new Race Master comes with the latest, most efficient solar panels resulting in significantly increased charging rates as well as the integral 300 hours autonomy from the accessible lithium batteries. As with all Tacktick products the Race Master is waterproof to 10m and lightweight (445g) essential for all sports and keel boat racers!

Commenting on the new Race Master, Iain Percy, Olympic Gold Medallist and current GBR Star sailor said:

'The new Tacktick Race Master has many great new features making it an essential piece of tactical equipment on our Star; I especially like the new Start Line function which really helps us to make the right decision at the start of each race.'
