Savills Short Ocean Racing Championship 2006

Dear Competitor

Thank you for your entry in the 29th Annual Savills Short Ocean Racing Championship 2006.

Sailing Instructions for both Course Areas and List of Entrants are available for you to download from the Event Race Document Website: http://www.mhyc.com.au/racing.htm

Competitor Packs will be available for collection from Thursday 1500 Hours from the Club you nominated on your entry form (MHYC or CYCA). The Competitor Packs will contain Sailing Instructions and List of Competitors for your Class. Bow Stickers will be included in your pack if you have not asked for them to be installed.

Additional Bow Stickers, List of Competitors and Sailing Instructions will be available from either MHYC or CYCA Sailing Offices throughout the weekend.

Results will be posted progressively on the Event Race Document Website: http://www.mhyc.com.au/racing.htm and on the Official Event Notice Board at MHYC

The weekend is stacking up to be exciting in terms of both competitive sailing and social shoreside activity.

For those sailing one-designs and attending your weigh-in on Friday evening, the Members Bar will be open and complimentary bar snacks will be served.

On Saturday, the Inner Circle Rum Beach Party is at MHYC after racing. There are great prizes and giveaways by the fantastic Inner Circle Rum Promo Girls. A live band and beach barbeque will top off the evenings entertainment.

On Sunday, the Official Prize Presentation will be held approximately two hours following the completion of Racing.

Winners of the respective classes will receive Savills Trophies “with a difference” and our support sponsor “Audi Australia” is also awarding winners with an outstanding selection of prizes.
