Georgina and Sam Engaged

The Waikato Times has reported a source saying that Olympic Champion Georgina Evers-Swindell and her long time boyfriend, Sam Earl are engaged.

The report indicates that the engagement was announced after they returned from the World Championships in Eton this year where Georgina and her sister, Caroline had represented New Zealand in the Double Sculls.

Sam has represented New Zealand in the International rowing arena and is the son of Athol Earl, a member of the 1972 Munich Olympic Eight.
