A quick note to remind you of upcoming events at MHYC in November.


1) MHYC Thursday Twilight Racing – First Race Thursday 2/11/06

If you have not yet entered your yacht for Twilight Racing would you please do so today. Series Entries close, Thursday 26 October 2006, Notice of Race and Entry Form (and Race Documentation) can be downloaded from http://www.mhyc.com.au/twilight.htm

Sailing Office is currently finishing allocation of yachts to Divisions and Handicapping, please get your entries in now for what promises to be another great season of Twilight Racing.


2) Inner Circle Rum Harbour Trek – Saturday 4/11/06

Saturday 4/11/06, there is no Annual Pointscore Racing at MHYC, the Inner Circle Rum Harbour Trek starts and finishes at MHYC. This Race features crews own choice of Course in both Spinnaker & Non Spinnaker Divisions. It is always a great day, Notice of Race and Entry Form can be downloaded from http://www.mhyc.com.au/innercirclerum.htm . Post Race BBQ for competitors and Presentation of the Perpetual Inner Circle Rum Trophy.


3) MHYC Sprint Series – Saturday 4/11/06

Saturday 4/11/06, is round 1 of the MHYC Sprint Series for Sydney 38 One Design Class, Sydney 32 One Design Class, Adams 10 Metre Class and International J24 Class. There are 3 Races scheduled per day, First Warning at 1230hrs. Notice of Rave and Entry Form can be downloaded from http://www.mhyc.com.au/SprintSeries.htm Please note that yachts which have entered and paid and entry fee for a Season Pointscore with MHYC, RSYS, CYCA and SASC are not required to pay an entry fee, but must complete the Entry Form.

Entries close Thursday 2/11/06, please get your entries in today.


4) Harken Lady Skippers Race – Sunday 5/11/06

Sunday 5/11/06, The Harken Ladies Skippers Race is on again, there are Divisions for Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker Yachts, All Female Crews and Mixed Crews. It was a great event last year and we look forward to seeing a big entry from the Ladies Crews this year. Scratch Start of the Sound, First Warning at 1215hrs, with Finish at MHYC. 5) MHYC Two Handed Race (Round 1) – 12/11/06

6)29th Savills Short Ocean Racing Championship – 25 & 26 November 2006

The Savills SORC is one of Australia’s leading Offshore Regatta’s; MHYC invites Members to compete in IRC, PHS, Farr 40 OD, Sydney 38 OD and Sydney 32 OD Classes, on 2 Course Areas. This is a Cat 4 Offshore Event. Notice of Race and Entry Form can be downloaded from http://www.mhyc.com.au/sorc.htm
