After two years of negotiatoon and project management, involving a number of boatbuilders, Mark and Kevin Mulcare have launched their new Thompson 30 'Collateral Damage'.
Mark, a five times New Zealand Representative and three times World B1 Blind Sailing Champion, still shows the way in the yachting world and this boat will only add further to his expertise as well as giving him a great deal of enjoyment.
At a launching at Pier 21 Westhaven on Friday 8th September Mark and Kevin's mother Bernice Poured the champagne over the bow in traditional fashion.
The yacht is a Thompson 30 design, with flexible rig and equipped with a gennaker prod.
Blind Sailing New Zealand wish Mark and Kevin every success with this new venture and look forward to reading the race results soon.
