This interesting new product is a replacement for shackles and snaps to connect pulleys. It has a wide range of uses on a yacht, including the sheet traveller, toe rails, boom & spar (pole, flying jib, boom...)
It can also be used as a link between backstays, runners and tackle pulleys...
it is constructed of Dyneema SK75 pre-stretched, 32 plait Dyneema cover.
It's an excellent innovation, as the product has many advantages - it is weight saving, won't damage your deck, mast or boom. The pulley is always perfectly in effort axis. Unlike traditional methods, it is silent, a great advantage on long sailing journeys, it has very good resistance to UV and chafing. It also has en excellent weight/breaking strength ratio.
