Australian sailor Tom Braidwood is best described as an ambitious and determined sailor and these attributes see him sailing to the far reaches of the globe.

Now Tom has commenced a campaign of the non-sailing variety, aiming to grant 20 seriously ill children their wish, by raising $100,000 for the Starlight Children's Foundation. You can help and be a part of brightening these children lives and making the struggle easier for these children and their families.

There will be opportunities to donate at Tom's talk at the CYCA on Wednesday 19th July or by following the link below.

The Starlight Foundation exists to brighten the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families around Australia. Living with illness or injury can cause enormous strain in the lives of children and their families. The everyday joys of childhood often take a backseat to the stress of treatment and hospitalisation.

Since 1988 Starlight has brightened the lives of seriously ill children and hospitalised children and their families by delivering innovative programs that restore the fun, laughter and joy that serious illness takes away.
