Laser European Championship - Day 4

by Sail-World/GJN on 11 Jul 2006 Paul Goodison has not won a race since his win on the opening day but he continues to lead and increased that lead again Monday. Three races were completed for the senior event, Goodison scoring 3, 5, 3 and finishing ahead of his nearest rival, Roope Suomalainen of Finland.

Winners included Felix Pruvot (FRA) ninth overall, Maxim Semerkhanov (RUS) 23 overall, Anders Nyholm (DEN)sixth overall and Luka Radelic (CRO) seventh overall.

In the Youth event three races were completed and Danijel Mihelic of Croatia continues to lead. Blair Lindsay of New Zealand moves into second overall with a seventh, second and third, and is now six points behind Mihelic.

Rutger Van Schaardenburg of Holland is in third place a further five points back.

Corentin Pruvot of France had two wins and a second today but he has been black flagged twice so far in the youth series and is down in 12th after one discard.
