Cayard's Wet Weather Gear on eBay

'I purchased Paul Cayard's spare set of foulies for my boyfriend but they were too big. Hence I've popped them on ebay. The Pirate Clothing Manager warned me that ebay may become addictive and she was right! I'm up to £56 at the minute and am glued to the screen! so writes Britain sailing journalist Rachel Anning.

Own a slice of history with a full set of brand new XL HPX Gortex offshore sailing smock and trousers, a spare set originally supplied for skipper of the Pirates of the Caribbean, Paul Cayard, which have been put up for sale on www.ebay.co.uk

This unique set are both branded with Pirates of the Caribbean logos and ‘Cayard’ on the back of the smock jacket and are top of the range technical clothing for the hardiest of sailors.

The smock and trousers - both XL - are in the original Musto wrappers and have never been worn. The rubber sleeves and neck are yet to be cut to size and the trousers boast a Musto knife carrier.

Pirates of the Caribbean looks set to take 2nd overall in the Volvo Ocean Race 2005/06 tomorrow, when the race concludes in Gothenburg. The new film, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest premiers next month and promises to be another book office smash!
