49er World Championship - Brtits lead

Action in the final series at 49er Worlds 49er Class Association http://www.49er.org
Chris Draper and Simon Hiscocks of Briton lead the Final series of the 49er World Championship in Aix Les Bains, France after two races.

In second place are the Greek team of Athanasios Pachoumas and Athanasios Siouzios and in third Marcus Baur and Max Groy of Germany.

Draper and Hiscocks had two second places in the final series races on Friday. Baur had a first and a sixth, and Pachoumas two sixth places.

Stevie Morrison and Ben Rhodes (GBR) are in sixth place and John Pink and Alex Hopson in 17 place.

The finals series has 25 boats in the gold fleet, 33 boats the silver fleet and 34 in the bronze fleet. The final series will be contested Friday and Saturday, with the decisive Medal Race this Sunday 11 June.
