2006 promises to be a fantastic year for the Laser 5000 class. Yet again the class is visiting some wonderful sailing locations around the country to show spectators the thrills and spills of this fast, fun yet cheap boat.

A new concept for this year has some of the opens being integrated into sailing club’s own regattas meaning more boats and larger socials!

The Laser 5000s are visiting Lake Garda again for the European Championhips at the end of June with the National Champs at Rock SC, Cornwall in September.

The calendar this year reads:

14 / 16 April – Royal Lymington YC, Hampshire
13 / 14 May – Broadstairs SC, Kent
27 / 28 May – Grafham SC
3 / 4 June – Felpham, Sussex
28th June – 1st July - Riva del Garda, Italy European Championships
21 / 23 August – Royal Torbay Regatta, Devon
16th – 19th September – Rock SC, Cornwall National Championships
14 / 15 October – Rutland SC, Inland Championships

There is currently a huge demand for this amazingly good value for money, twin trapeze dinghy with some great boats for sale well below £2000.
