FIJI SOUTH PACIFIC CHAMPS UPDATE FROM FISH
Don't forget the dates:
August 18 to 22nd
We are planning to fly in on the Thursday 17th and out on the 24th.

Note from Fish' update below the venue has changed to Pacific harbour - this makes the flying in and out of Nadi a more attractive option for us.

Morning Guys,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Just a very quick one to advise that we have not
forgotten you,and that the regatta is shaping up well with about 35
early entry indications from Oz,NZ and the USA............and 10 Fiji
boats......Indications are that we will be able to cut off at about 50
teams..

Good indications of Incoming boats from Oz and NZ also so we are in for
a good one................

Airlines a bit slow coming back to us,as they are trying to slot in the
best deal, and studying the loadings etc,,,,,however they will be back to
us shortly and have already blocked off seats aplenty for s,so there is
no need to worry about seat availability,..they are just working on the
fares........

NOR will be completed shortly when we finalize hotel deal and finalize
the venue........about 95% there at present...just squeezing the hotel.

At this moment it seems 95% certain that the Venue will be Pacific
Harbour,30 mins from Suva, the proposed site of the next 'Worlds 'in
2007.

Good Hotels etc on the beach, and shopping centre etc.

Back to you all in a week or so,with NOR,list of prelim entries and
official entry forms,and other details.

Cheers Fish
