New recruits at North Sails UK

North Sails UK has announced the appointment of Jeremy Robinson to its sales team and Jeremy Elliott to the design team.

Jeremy Robinson has been involved in sailing since 1979 and has been making sails for his family-owned business Sobstad Sailmakers UK since 1985. Robinson also produced winning designs for IRC Championships, Mumm 30 European Championships and 505 World Championships.

Jeremy Elliott was a member of the GBR Challenge America's Cup sailing team and a design analyst before joining North Sails. He has also worked in yacht hydrodynamic testing and as a technical consultant to Americas Cup, Volvo Ocean Race and Olympic teams.

Elliott will be responsible for the R&D on custom projects, production design, evaluation and the implementation of new production systems.
