The Best Hobart Image?

A dramatic morning for Wild Oats, with her goose neck broken, her runners and backstays caught the top battens. With those gone, the jib could not be rasied, she had to sail with a number six on the inner forestay, then the main had to come down to save it, she raced the last part of the race on headsails alone.

Crosbie Lorimer caught her at Iron Pot, racing with a six in the inner forestay and no headsail.
