2006 RS-X European Championships

The Turkish Sailing Federation have announced their support to host the 2006 RS:X European Championships in Alacati from 7 to 16 June. The Federation Francaise de Voile were unable to host the event due to a large number of previous commitments but have committed their continued support for the NeilPryde RS:X Class.
The Turkish Sailing Federation has an outstanding history of organising top level windsurfing events and recently hosted the Mistral Worlds in 2004. Alacati, a unique Mediterranean town on the Western coast of Turkey, which has been famous for it's architecture, vineyards and windmills for over 150 years has now made it's name in the world of windsurfing, with it's crystal clear water, consistent and steady wind and well acclaimed Turkish hospitality.
