Death of Life Member Buster Brown

John ‘Buster’ Brown

Members are advised of the death of ‘Buster’ Brown, Life Member of MHYC, who joined the Club in 1954, on Wednesday 14 December 2005, after a brief illness.


Buster was a wonderful MHYC Member, his long time involvement in the MHYC Sailing Program and his patience in teaching generations of MHYC Juniors how to sail is legendary, he will be sorely missed at MHYC by his many friends.


MHYC has expressed its sympathies to his Family and sons Tony & Richard.

Buster’s Family advise the Funeral will be held Monday 19 December 2005, 11.15am, at Macquarie Park Crematorium (Palm Chapel), Plassey Road North Ryde. (Please note this is not the Northern Suburbs Crematorium).

Buster’s family invites his friends to attend the Funeral and afterwards at MHYC for drinks.
