Skills that you need:
The charter boat company will specify the requirements in detail, but broadly at least one member of the crew to be able to handle a yacht under sail and at close quarters, to be competent to reef sails, read charts, do line of sight navigation, be competent at both bow and stern to mooring, pick up mooring buoys in all conditions, cope with tides and currents and KNOW YOUR POSITION AT ANY TIME
Provisioning for a charter holiday:
Doing it yourself is pretty easy as long as you have the time after arrival, and there are good shops on Hamilton Island, at Cannonvale and at Airlie Beach. However, you can also have Whitsunday Provisioning take away all the pain, by providing you with fresh and affordable produce.
