Palm Beach Regatta Sydney 32 Division

by RPAYC on 21 Mar 2005
Palm Beach Regatta 2005 - Mainstay Ron Farley www.raceaboat.com
Stan Montgomery and his Mainstay team, started the Palm Beach Regatta with two Sydney 32 division wins in the heavy conditions on Saturday, then held it together with a second and a struggling seventh on Sunday to win from Martin Cross' 'iF'

Montgomery remembered well the last major outing against Cross, when he failed to cover in the last race to be pipped on the line.

No such mistake this time and a well deserved result in this growing class.

Numbers of the Sydney 32 fleet will be backing up for next weekend's JOG regatta. More news on that soon.
