Houston we have lift off!

RMW Marine - surfing to a win yesterday Andrea Francolini Photography http://www.afrancolini.com/
Those are the only words that came to mind during the Invitation race of the 2005 Ssangyong Giltinan 18ft Skiff Championship on Sydney Harbour yesterday.

It came to the point that once the kites were hoisted, not many boats were touching the water.

The Formula 1 of sailing sure showed us where they get their name from as their hulls and centreboards left the water and all took to the wire to keep their boats afloat.

A great way to start the fantastic two weeks of sailing on beautiful Sydney Harbour.

The following events I am photographing are:

2005 Global Challenge - Leg 4 leaving Sydney

2005 Rolex Farr 40 Pre-Worlds

2005 Rolex Farr 40 Worlds

Now, if that is not enough action, you had better change your sport!

Some of the 18 foot skiff images can be seen on: www.afrancolini.com

Key word: J.J Giltinan

Enjoy and see you out there!

Andrea
