Following on from the success of last weekend’s Royal Motor Yacht Club’s Young 88 Regatta, JOGNSW have teamed with the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club to organise a second Young 88 Regatta on Pittwater over the Easter weekend.

The RPAYC Young 88 Summer Regatta will be conducted in conjunction with JOG05 (The 2005 Australian JOG and Super 30 Championships). The three day Regatta is a Category 7 event and will be held over the period 25th – 27th March.

The final day’s racing (on Easter Sunday) will feature a series of windward/leeward sprints held inside Pittwater and JOGNSW have organised a spectator ferry to follow the action. There will be a presentation BBQ with entertainment at RPAYC later in the afternoon after racing has concluded.

Several Young 88 owners have already indicated they will be competing and 15 to 20 Jim Young designed yachts are expected on the water.

For further information and copy of the Notice of Race contact RPAYC 02 9997 1022, or www.rpayc.com.au or visit the event website at www.raceaboat.com.
