On IRC handicap Bob Oatley’s Wild Oats, now dockside in Coffs Harbour, leads on corrected time from Dick Cawse’s Vanguard, with Andy Offord’s Farr 40 Marsim Weapon third. In fourth place is John Bacon’s Sydney 39CR Hussy.
In IRC division Two the new leader Chris Lobb’s Uncensored, is five miles south of Crowdy Head. She is a few hundred metres ahead of Cameron Miles’ Rush, with Conspiracy, in third place. The Bigger Picture is close on the leaders heels, a testament to the close racing conditions experienced by the Sydney 38 One Design fleet.
In IRC Division Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club members Bruce Staples and Jim King with their Dark Stormy & Witch are four nautical miles south west of Crowdy Head and they lead Ian Guanaria’s Georgia Express on handicap, with Rod Wills X-43 Great Xpectations currently third.
In PHS One, the Flying Fish Beneteau 40.7 Let Loose leads from Graham Friend’s Sea-Quest and another Flying Fish, entry Panacea.
In PHS Two, Dave Thomas’ Turkey Shoot, is first ahead of Poppy and Willyama.
