2017 ends with Foiling Awards, 2018 begins from Sydney

Foiling Week is pleased to announce the second edition of the Foiling Awards. We believe the foiling community is pushing the industry limits in all fields, sailing, building and design.

The awards have been nominated by the foiling community and now the vote is open to all the foiling fans until November 23rd. Cast your vote for your preferred candidates here.

From the past November 5th to November 16th the foiling community has proposed nominees to recognize the year best performance in the different categories:

The Foiling Awards prize-giving ceremony will be on December 1st at Yacht Club Italiano in Genoa. The Foiling Awards are supported by BMW, Slam and Persico Marine.



BMW had chosen to present the Innovation category. The BMW Group has always encouraged innovation. This forward-looking philosophy has enabled and defined many important milestones in the company’s history.

2018 Foiling Weeks calendar preview

Foiling Awards will provide an exciting end to the 2017 season, 2018 will start early, from January 11th to 14th the Woollahra Sailing Club located in Rose Bay, Sydney, hosting the first 2018 Foiling Week. The program will be the classic morning forum with races in the afternoon, expo and trials.

After the Sydney stop-over, Foiling Week will be from February 15th to 18 th at Shake-A-Leg in Biscayne Bay, Miami.

Next year, the Classic Garda Foiling Week will be from June 28th to July 1st at Fraglia Vela Malcesine as usual.
