Bulgari celebrates SIR and NSW Sailing Awards

by Trent Power, Bulgari on 18 Dec 2004
Sydney Harbour will be host to world-class sailing and celebrations this weekend as the 2004 Sydney International Regatta draws elite sailors from around the globe to compete and join in an evening of festivities hosted by Bulgari and Yachting NSW.

Over 220 sailors from 12 countries will take to the water from December 18-20 as part of the Sydney International Regatta. Of those, 166 entries have been received from Olympic, Youth and Invited classes, promising a vision of colour and action on the Harbour.

On Sunday November 19, a mixture of high profile sailors and members of the sailing community will gather for an evening of celebrations to announce the 2004 NSW Sailing Awards and raffle Bulgari’s Regatta Watch, which will raise money for Yachting NSW’s Youth Development Programs.

Bulgari’s Diagono Professional Regatta represents the ultimate watch for yachting and sailing enthusiasts. Swiss made, the watch is water-resistant to 300 metres and includes a compass marked bi-rotating bezel and special dial indicators giving reliable tactical navigation support.

The evening will be attended by world record holding yachtswoman Adrienne Cahalan and 2004 world championship winners, Nathan Wilmot, Malcolm Page, Michael Blackburn and Nathan Outteridge.
