Highfield announced as Official RIB Supplier to Extreme Sailing Series

by Extreme Sailing Series on 7 Aug 2017 Highfield, a specialist in the design and production of aluminium-hulled rigid inflatable boats (RIBs), has been signed as an Official Supplier for the Extreme Sailing Series™, the ultimate Stadium Racing championship.

The reliable RIBs, which are fitted with Honda engines, will provide vital on-water safety support for the sailors as they compete in close-quarters Stadium Racing on highspeed hydro-foiling catamarans, as well as transportation for VIP and media guests.

Extremely hard-wearing, Highfield's high-performance RIBs will easily measure up to the demands of keeping up with the super-fast fleets of GC32s and Flying Phantoms around the racecourse, while also enduring a full-on annual calendar of events that will see them transported by container across three continents for eight Acts.
