Elan’s new cruising model, the Impression 434, was hailed ‘Boat of the Show’ at the 2004 Stockholm Boat Show held in November.

Navsail is very pleased to report that the first Impression 434 (in line for Australia) has already been snapped up by a Queensland buyer.

He flew to the factory to test sail the yacht and he and his family plan to cruise the Adriatic and the Mediterranean for the next year or so.

The eye-catching Impression 434 outshone some very distinguished competition at Sweden’s main boat show.

Swedish journalists praised the new yacht.
‘Impression 434 by Elan is a brand new cruiser without compromises. The overall design is elegant and exciting in its entirety and in small details.

'The interior is spacious and very light, and the change in floor levels gives extra dynamics to the boat. The Impression 434 is a boat that is distinct from other boats and is very attractively priced.’

Designed by leading nautical designer Rob Humphreys, and launched in April this year, the Impression 434 is the first model of Elan’s stunning new cruising line.

Elan Marine is thrilled with the impressive order list and the overwhelming response that their new cruising model has received since its launching.

Elan’s decision to compliment their very successful Performance Cruisers with a new distinctive and elegant blue water cruising line is proving to be an outstanding triumph.

The new Impression range is offering everything the blue water cruising family might seek; elegant style with supreme comfort and exceptional seaworthiness, combined with the capacity to carry an abundance of stores, fuel and water for extended cruising.

Buyers are waiting with great anticipation for the launching of the next new model in this range.

The Impression 374, a smaller sister to the premiere Impression 434, will make her debut at the Düsseldorf Boat Show in January 2005.

The first Impression 374 for Australia will arrive in June 2005 and will be on show at the Sydney International Boat Show in July.

Elan is already holding a substantial number of orders for this new, yet to be released, yacht.

Navsail expects great success with this distinctive blue water cruiser, as it is unequalled in design and price in its size range.
