Honda Marine releases four new outboard models

by Honda Marine on 16 Jun 2017
Honda Marine releases four new outboard models Honda Marine (Australia) http://www.honda.com.au
The 2017 Melbourne International Boat Show marks the global debut for the BF75, BF80, BF90 and BF100 and the Australian debut of the new BF40 and BF50 Honda Marine Outboards with a fresh new look and some updated features.

The new ‘crouching’ style gives the outboards a strong and athletic appearance to match the technology packed engine contained within the simple and sleek silver cowl.

With an upgraded ECU the new outboards have the latest in Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology. Meaning that the exact amount of fuel is delivered at the perfect time, guaranteeing smoother performance and greater fuel savings.

Along with Honda 's Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology, all of the new outboards incorporate lean burn control technology (ECOmo), which allows combustion to operate on a leaner air/fuel ratio during cruising to achieve greater fuel economy.

Honda’s revolutionary Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST™) technology boosts engine torque at low RPM under rapid acceleration. This boost in horsepower and torque at low rpm contributes to strong hole shot performance to get the hull up on plane quickly!

Developed for Honda's high-performance sportscars and available on the updated BF90 and BF100; VTEC™ varies the lift and duration of the intake valves to provide optimum performance both at low and high rpm.

Honda is wired for the future; this is why the new outboards come standard with NMEA2000 connectivity.

The BF75, BF80, BF90 and BF100 has the best in class charging performance with a 44-amp alternator. This means your outboard is now able to charge the battery faster and power more accessories, so that you can now run the little bit of extra tech on the boat to help find the perfect catch.

A Honda Marine engine on the back of your boat is more than an outboard. It’s the world’s largest and most trusted engine manufacturer. It’s an unrivalled team of R&D professionals re-defining the limits. It’s legendary Formula 1 and motor racing pedigree enhancing your performance. It's more 4-stroke experience than anyone else on the water. It’s a dedicated nationwide dealer network supporting you with an unmatched seven-year warranty. On the back of your boat, a Honda is the best behind you.
