One month - Get ready for the NoveNove Maui Aloha Classic

by American Windsurfing Tour on 1 Oct 2016
Noireaux is the Ho'okipa champ - 2015 NoveNove Maui Aloha Classic American Windsurfing Tour / Sicrowther
We are officially one month from the opening party of the 2016 NoveNove Maui Aloha Classic. The windsurfing world is a buzz as all eyes turn towards Maui. The first winter swells are coming in and all the riders are booking tickets and hotel rooms for the event.

Maui local/Goya and Quatro team rider/serious contender, Vickey Abbott, had this to say about the recent Maui conditions: 'We did have the first true winter North swell hit last weekend. It was great to brush the cob webs off, shake out the rust and get a feel for the new season equipment.

It’s been pretty windy throughout the month of September with steady NE trades and wind swell to play with.'

If you are still looking for a place to stay check our Nalu Kai Lodge for the best location right in downtown Paia. Mention the Aloha Classic and save money on your booking. Need a ride while you're here? Book a rental car with Manaloha Rent-a-car. Mention you are here for the event for extra savings!

Since the wind and waves are hitting and the sun is shining in Maui, we want to extend a special offer to save on registration. Sign up by Sunday, Oct. second for 15% off. That is this Sunday, so don't hesitate. For registration click here.

Here are a few event details to help get your trip planning solidified:

• Oct. 30th: Registration and Opening Party - Location TBD
• Oct. 31st: Opening Ceremony at Ho'okipa Beach Park @ 9:00 AM
• Nov. 13th: Closing Ceremony at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center
